CitiLink Broadband Solutions provides crystal clear voice for business. All voice channels are delivered as SIP (Session Initiated Protocol a VoIP industry standard) and can easily be configured for the following protocols:

  • Standard Analog – supports fax and credit card

  • PRI – T1 – includes up to 23 voice channels per card

We also offer long distance & international calling rates, 800 number services; along with providing DID (Direct Inward Dialing), and hunt groups.

Citilink's 4G network is designed to support the 10 digit dialing protocol. Similar to a mobile phone company's implementation, you will need to dial all 10 digits to connect.

PRI is the acronym for Primary Rate Interface. A PRI can be thought of as delivery method for a T1. The PRI circuit contains 23 channels for voice transmission and provides greater functionality to business users in need of several voice lines.

Point-to-Point Circuits

SIP is the acronym for Session Initiated Protocol and is a standard protocol for real-time communications over the internet. A SIP trunk is a virtual circuit set up on an internet access line, and a transmit mechanism for VoIP calls from the PBX to the outside world.  SIP can be delivered directly to a PBX if the phone system is designed to operate on SIP. However, by deployment of a router, CitiLink Broadband Solutions can convert SIP to analog, or any of the PRI configurations for your phone system.

 

Long distance can be defined as outgoing, through the use of 1+ dialing, or incoming, through the use of a 800, 888, 877, or 866 number. CitiLink offers competitive domestic and international long distance rates.

 

CitiLink offers a wide variety of toll free numbers including custom vanity numbers. CitiLinks toll free numbers include 800, 888, 877, and 866 number designations.

Virtual number designations are an efficient way to increase you incoming calling footprint. A virtual number is a phone number that covers a different area other than the exchange where your business is located. The virtual number is simply forwarded to your primary business phone number. Example: your business is in the exchange 552 and you have a published number of 212-555-1212, this number would be the virtual number and all incoming traffic would be directed at your new exchange
